Wage War for the promise!


 

I was praying the other morning and I asked God "why are there believers that seem so defeated in their walk with you and prophecy I actually sat and heard has not come to pass".?. He simply replied, "they don't war for the word". What a powerful statement!

Joshua lead the whole nation of Isreal into the "promise"(land/Cannan).

Yet there was opposition that he faced before conquering the full manifestation of the promise of God! There were inhabitants in the land that belonged to him! They were there illegally because, get this, they didn't even own the land! The people inhabiting the land had no deeds or legal claim on the land they were occupying. God who owns the earth promised the land of Canaan to the Israelites. "The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. ... He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation (Psalms 24:1-3)". Joshua had to wage war with kings and nations to get what God had already promised him and the Israelite nation! He faced battle upon battle to see fully what God spoke/promised to his ancestors! Wage war! Conquest upon conquest got him closer and closer to the full manifestation of the promise! Believers, just because you don't yet see fully what God's promised you; doesn't mean it's not happening! God says, "wage war for your promise (prophecy)"! Take new ground, access new territory, and subdue every enemy. Speak it, declare it, write it, sing it, stand on it, trust it!

Mark 4:15 K.J.B. "And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts". Come against the demonic host that's holding your promise captive! Wage War! Ask God for discernment to know what your fighting and how to be victorious(strategy) and wage war!

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
